Hôtel Amour - Sensuous and Sophisticated...

"Hôtel Amour"...

The aptly named...

Amour... "Hôtel Amour"...

Only in Paris...

Would such a name exist...

We jumped on the métro, which travelled all the way to "Anvers", in the 9th Arrondissement,  a walk away from the risqué Pigalle, and the enchanting "Montmartre".

Off rue des Martyrs... ("j'adore")... is the "intime" smallish... elegant... quaint... boutique "Hôtel Amour"... on rue Navarin.

"Quel nom"...

"Quel hôtel"...

We entered into a cozy dining room, which led to the hotel's "pièce de résistance"... "la terrasse".

Charming... Delightful...

Whimsical...

In the center was a small, adorable pond... with golden fishes... splashing and swimming languidly...

The usual tables and chairs... with a cluster of climbing foliage forming a sort of... "double terrasse"... with an ambiance "intime" for... "les amoureaux"...

We sat by the lovely tiny pond, having ordered our "express et croissant", from the handsome young waiter...

We proceeded to share the latter with our "golden friends"... the fishes - they clustered together vying for a crumb or two... of the delicacy being offered.

Later, we ordered the famous Delmonico's specialty, "Eggs Benedict", which were good... but not as delectable as the ones we had... in Greenwich Village in New York.

The hamburgers were luscious... the salads invitingly fresh...

Early evening drinks are particularly pleasing, with an "in" crowd enjoying themselves...

Intimately...

Amourously...

"Ahh... l'amour... l'amour".....

A lovely brunch...

An amorous evening...

The sexy... sensual...

Sophisticated...

Romantic...

"Hôtel Amour".
