Ever since… I allowed myself to discreetly “scream”… when I first layed eyes on Mick … strutting his stuff on stage… while swooning listening to Keith… strumming his genius on his guitar.
What a difference… a certain Rock band… makes…
“Je suis tombée amoureuse avec… les Rolling Stones“…
I’ve been more or less… indifferent… to “The Beatles“… (with the exception of John Lennon, whom I found fascinating)… as well as the many other Rock bands… that have come and drifted away…
But… not so…
The Rolling Stones…
They have lingered… powerfully on…
So… what is… the relationship between these two major players…
Keith and Mick…
What a difference… two men… can make…

Supremely… cool…
Blasé… (except for his love affair with his guitar)…
Hugely talented…
Maddeningly… attractive…
With his… heavily… kohled eyes…
A bandana… wrapped around his black hair… framing his swarthy… craggy… cavernous… jagged face…
He is… hypnotic.

A fascination…
To… watch his über fit body gyrating with… supersonic energy…

Intellectually intelligent…

Two… brilliant men…
Two… very different people…
Who are… bound by one thing…

Their… legendary band…
The… Rolling Stones…
However… their relationship is unfortunately a very dysfunctional one… in spite of the “faux” camaraderie… they try to project to the world at large…
In spite of Keith and the rest of the band trying their hardest to reunite for a tour… on what will be their 50th anniversary next month… they had to admit that the band will not be ready any time soon… much to the chagrin and disappointment… of their fans.
The fundamental reason being the breakup of the relationship between these two giants… due to a slight made by Keith demeaning Mick in his memoir “Life“… which resulted in acrimony… a relationship described as… “arctic“… between the two warring Stones.
Mick Jagger… cannot forgive Keith… for breaking a sacred agreement… which is that two partners can fight and disagree all they like in privacy… but should never air… “dirty laundry“ in public.

While the suave Mick… has turned down many offers to write his autobiography… preferring not to reveal too much about them…
Discreet… mysterious…
“Moi… je préfère ça”…
A 50th anniversary tour for the Rolling Stones…?
One of Jagger’s close friends does not think so… it will not happen. Mick… still cannot tolerate Keith.
So what is the outcome of all this unfortunate acrimony…?
A divorce… “une rupture”…?
Probably…
But possibly in the interim… the outcome could be a “one-off” filmed concert… which will be marketed and sold all over the world.
Another opinion is that a tour will eventually take place for one simple reason…
Money.
