FASHION… NIGHT OUT…
Tuesday… 17th of September… 2013…
Was… a success…
In spite of…
Paris… being…
Heavy… with rain…
Soggy…
Wet… wet… wet…
Still…
“Cet événement est devenu le rendez-vous incontournable… l’occasion de célébrer la mode… dans une ambience festive et animée“…
In… other… words…
It was a night dedicated to celebrating fashion… and those who work in it… from fashion designers… stylists… celebrities… models… fashion bloggers… and fashionistas…
The Fashion Night Out event… held once a year in 19 different countries and 29 cities… includes parties held in thousands of retail stores… making this unique event the most important global public fashion and shopping celebration…
This year’s Paris event… its 5th edition… was celebrated in rue du Faubourg St. Honoré… and rue Saint Honoré… the deliciously posh shopping quartier of Paris…as well as the surrounding areas of rue Royale… place de la Madeleine… and the Palais Royal…
We hopped from one luxury boutique to the other… while being inundated with sparkling champagne… delicate canapés… as well as being charmingly entertained by live bands… as well as a lively DJ at Emporio Armani…
The divine… Saint Laurent… Dior… Chanel… and Lanvin… we visited all… on this festive “store-crawl”…
Chloé‘s white rose gift… was a hit…
At Prada… we were delighted to be in the hallowed presence of Emmanuelle Alt… no less… the highly talented editor of French Vogue with her entourage… where we tried amazingly fabulous suede winter sandals… Loved…
Cavalli was full of his usual leopard… Tom Ford was potently exclusive… However we were truly impressed by Burberry‘s attention to detail and perfection in cut…
Shops and streets were oozing with beauty… glamour… and celebrities… couldn’t believe how lovely young girls and models could strut around giggling and thoroughly having fun… while teetering on vertiginous Laboutins…
VOGUE… FASHION NIGHT OUT…
