Café Pouchkine.. Boulevard Saint-Germain…
Café… Pouchkine…
St. Germain… Paris…
An… invitation…
Having been through a traumatic few days… it was a pleasant diversion to be invited to the official “ouverture” of one of our much appreciated destinations… the newly opened Café Pouchkine on the left bank.
Andrey Dallos… the founder of the world renowned… Café Pouchkine in Moscow… is already the owner of three cafés in Paris… having already opened a small patisserie | salon de thé in the Grand Magasin Printemps… which we find strikingly beautiful… however the decor in the St. Germain café is equally sumptuous… reminiscent of the atmosphere of Pre-Revolution Russia.
The unique display of onion-shaped structures replicating a miniature version of Moscow… in honour of the inaugural party… was indeed splendid…
Café Pouchkine… was named after the celebrated “poète et romancier russe“… the celebrated poet and writer… Alexandre Pouchkine…
It is a place dedicated to… “la gourmandise“…
The Patisseries are irresistable… as are the Russian “salé” delicacies…
The service… impeccable…
Café… Pouchkine…
A lovely new addition on… boulevard St. Germain…
Delightful… charming…
Enchanting…
