La Rotonde de la Muette.. Venue “de Jour”…
La… Rotonde…
de… la Muette…
Is… fashionable…
Elegant…
It’s the latest “IT” venue “de jour“… in the 16th arrondissement’s quartier in Passy.
Romantic white flurries of snow are falling all around us… when we arrived at the newly refurbished brasserie…
It’s all peaches and tan inside.. with embossed velvety couches.. grouped in the most imaginative ways.
It’s… plush…
It’s… posh…
But not ostentatious nor snobby in any way… a modern style brasserie designed by the highly influential Manhattan-based American design firm Roman and Williams.
A much needed newcomer in this rather staid.. conventional area…
Due to the OECD‘s headquarters being around the corner.. it has an international flavour. We heard English mixed with French.. as well as a sprinkling of Italian and Russian.. among others.
The service is of a high standard.. the management efficient.. the cuisine quite excellent. The coffee.. accompanied by a delicately flavoured Madeleine.. is a Proustian delight.
With all the rumblings in the universe at large.. entering into the warm cosy womb of…
La… Rotonde…
de la… Muette…
Is… sort of…
Lovely…
A… beautiful…
Experience…
It… is…
Quite…
Divine…
